In a continued effort to fortify rural connectivity, BOSCO Uganda has installed lightning arrestors and complete earthing systems at Lacor Primary School ICT Centre and Pagak ICT Centre. These measures defend against the region’s intense lightning activity and associated electrical risks, preserving essential infrastructure.
This phase succeeds installations at Alero ICT Centre, God’s Mercy ICT Centre in Purongo, and the originating Warocco Kwo site all under the Internet Society Foundation’s vital funding. At Lacor Primary School, the improvements support primary education through stable access to computers and offline learning platforms. Similarly, Pagak ICT Centre gains resilience for community training and digital inclusion initiatives.
BOSCO Uganda conveys deep appreciation to the Internet Society Foundation for their sponsorship and to the administrations and communities at Lacor Primary School and Pagak for their exemplary collaboration. Future installations are underway across the network.
